* Year 340 AH / December 951 AD: The death of the great Shafi’i jurist Ibrahim bin Ahmed bin Ishaq – Known as Abu Ishaq al-Marwazi, The imam of his time in fatwa and teaching – He ended up heading jurisprudence in Iraq after Ibn Shurayh.
* Year 1031 AH / May 1622 AD: the removal of Sultan Osman II from the office of succession, He is the 16th sultan in the series of sultans of the Ottoman Empire, His term of office lasted only about 4 years.
* Year 1294 AH / July 1877 AD: The victory of the Ottoman army over the Russian army in the battle of “Ballouneh” in the Balkans within the framework of the Russian-Ottoman war known as the “93 war”, In this battle, the Russians lost more than 2,800 dead.
* Year 1305 AH / March 1888 AD: The Ottomans descend to the sea the submarine “Abdul Hamid”, It was named “Under the Sea”, And introduced it into service within its military fleet after conducting diving, altitude and walking experiments, Then this submarine introduced “torpedoes”, It was one of the first countries to reinforce submarines with torpedoes.
