Guardian of the Walls

A Jewish term given by the Israeli occupation state as a name for its aggression on the Gaza Strip on May 11, 2021.

Al-Aqsa Mosque was the direct cause of the battle. The Israeli occupation authorities prevented worshippers from performing retreat in their mosque, harassed and repressed them, injuring hundreds of them and arresting dozens. And I did the same in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of Jerusalem, It wanted to expel its Arab inhabitants and take over their homes to foreign settlers. It also worked to impose barriers at Damascus Gate, It is one of the most important entrances to the Old City of Jerusalem.

All these repressive and racist measures made the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Martyr Brigades issue a warning to the occupation to stop all its harassment in Jerusalem. When he did not stop, The al-Qassam Brigades began to fulfill its promise and shelled West Jerusalem with a missile.

The occupation decided to avenge its pride by attacking Gaza, He called his military operation “Guardian of the Walls.”
