It happened in the first of Jumada al-Akhira:

* Year 379 AH / September 989 AD: The death of Abu Bakr al-Zubaidi, one of the flags of grammar, language and literature in Andalusia, And the author of my book: General melody, And the layers of grammarians and linguists; and the polite Caliph Hisham bin Al-Hakam.

* In 986 AH / August 1578 AD the Portuguese presence in Morocco was eliminated after the defeat of the Portuguese by the Saadians in the Battle of Wadi al-Makhzen.

* Year 1358 AH – AH / July 1939 AD Hassan al-Banna, founder of the Muslim Brotherhood movement , reissues Al-Manar magazine, which was issued by Sheikh Muhammad Rashid Rida, It lasted only 14 months and then stopped.

* In 1368 AH / March 1949, the first military coup in Syria led by Husni al-Za’im against President Shukri al-Quwatli and Prime Minister Khaled al-Azm.

* Year 1375 AH / January 1956 AD The Kingdom of Jordan announces its refusal to join the Baghdad Pact, which was led by the United Kingdom and includes Iraq, Turkey and Pakistan.

* Year 1425 AH / July 2004 AD Fatah’s Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades reject the decision of Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat to appoint Musa Arafat as Director General of General Security.

* In 1432 AH / May 2011 AD The signing of the Cairo Agreement between Hamas and Fatah to achieve Palestinian reconciliation under Egyptian auspices in the presence of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal.

* Year 1437 AH / March 2016 AD Ahmed Aboul Gheit was chosen as the new Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, succeeding Nabil Al-Arabi, as of the first of July.
