We are returning to the Palestinian poet Harun Hashem Rashid

A poem that we are returning to the Palestinian poet Harun Hashem Rashid

Poem:

Returnees Returning

We’re coming back.

The borders will not be castles and fortresses
Scream Oh displaced people

We’re coming back.

Returning home to the plains to the mountains
Under the flags of pottery, jihad and struggle
With blood, redemption, brotherhood and loyalty

We’re coming back.

We are coming back Oh God we are coming back Oh plateaus
Boyhood returnees for young people
For jihad in Najad and harvest in the country

We’re coming back.
