  1. Year 150 AH / June 767 AH: The death of al-Nu’man ibn Thabit ibn al-Nu’man Known as Abu Hanifa, One of the four imams and founder of the Hanafi school. Born in Kufa, It was with it that he grew up and learned.
  2. In 334 AH / December 945 AD, Bani Buwayh entered the city of Baghdad and took control of it without a fight. declaring their control over the Abbasid Caliphate, The so-called era of Buyid influence that spanned more than a century began.
  3. In 570 AH / December 1174 CE, Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi succeeded in annexing the city of Homs to his state without a fight.
  4. In 1213 AH / October 1798, the outbreak of the First Cairo Revolt against the French expeditionary forces, Which is called for by the Al-Azharis.
  5. In 1304 AH / February 1887 AD, the Ottoman Empire descended to the sea the submarine “Abdul Majeed” (and its first name was “under the sea”) and included it in its war fleet. This was the first time the Ottomans used the submarine.
  6. In 1361 AH / May 1942 AD, the battle of Ain al-Ghazala began in Libya, in which the Axis forces defeated Britain and captured Tobruk during the events of World War II.
