* In 1355 AH / September 1936 AD, major battles broke out in Jerusalem following the British army’s occupation of the Buraq police station in the city.

* In 1376 AH / January 1957 AD, a comprehensive strike begins in Algeria, called the eight-day strike in support of the Algerian liberation revolution.

* Year 1392 AH / August 1972 AD Comoros gains independence from France, It was renamed the Islamic Federal Republic of the Comoros under the chairmanship of Ahmed Sambi. It joined the League of Arab States.

* Year 1401 AH / May 1981 AD Abu Nidal Organization “Fatah Movement – Revolutionary Council” assassinates the President of the Austrian Zionist Association and a member of the Vienna City Council Heinz Neitel in Vienna, The attack was carried out by Hisham Rajeh and Marwan Hassan by skipping by Bahij Younis.

* Year 1402 AH / April 1982 AD Egypt regains the Sharm el-Sheikh area, which is considered part of the Sinai within the framework of the Egyptian/Israeli peace agreement.
