Malik Bennabi’s thought was of particular importance, He has lived through most of the colonial campaigns and attempts at independence in the Muslim world. And it’s a period of the best, And the most important periods of the Islamic world, Ibn Nabi considered it the point of decline of Islamic civilization and the beginning of qualifying for a new Islamic civilization.

Malik Bennabi is considered a contemporary sociologist, Although he studied engineering in France, He was interested in sociology and had his own theory of the emergence and rise and fall of civilizations, many of which he quoted from Ibn KhaldunSome of them are about Kaserling, who wrote about the emergence and rise of the civilization of Europe in his book (Analytical Research of Europe) and Ibn Nabi was distinguished by his famous equation about the elements of civilization and its complex. Malik Bennabi has many ideas that deserve in-depth study to understand the causes of the backwardness of the Islamic world and to recognize the means to advance it again.

This study aimed to illustrate Malik Bennabi’s approach in dealing with the problems of the Islamic world, which is still a field of disagreement between sociologists, historians and thinkers. In dealing with the conditions and factors of the Renaissance , Having worked hard, As much as possible in investigating his ideas broadcast through his books and articles, I felt enriched as I traced his ideas through his books.

It should be noted the importance of his book “Conditions of the Renaissance” because it represents a summary of his reform and change thought. And what distinguished him from all his books, Although he addresses various and different problems and issues in many of his other books, which formed the sources of this book, As for the studies that dealt with the thought of Malik bin Nabi, the most important and accurate was the book of Dr. Ali Al-Quraishi, which is entitled: “Social Change according to Malik Bennabi”, It is a study, To say the least, it is comprehensive, However, the sources were ahead of references.
