The book dealt with the issue of Palestinian refugees in the speeches and speeches of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Because of the special importance of this issue to the Palestinian people, The fact that his letters are published documents is of high importance. It reflects his official position on the refugee issue.

The book aimed to identify the position of the refugee issue in the speeches of President Mahmoud Abbas, Through its quantitative and qualitative analysis, Using the descriptive approach, including the content analysis method, the content analysis method, and the historical method.

The researcher conducted a survey of all his speeches since assuming the presidency in 2004 until the beginning of 2018.

 

Quantitative analysis showed the weak presence of the refugee issue in its various vocabulary in these speeches compared to major Palestinian issues. It was only 10.8%. It dealt with the vocabulary of the refugee issue that he used.
