* Year 600 AH / April 1204 AD Crusaders invade Constantinople during the Fourth Crusade.
* In 967 AH / May 1560 AD, the huge Spanish fleet of 200 ships and 30,000 soldiers seized the Tunisian island of Djerba and its castle after the withdrawal of the Ottoman garrison, estimated at a thousand men.
* Year 1222 AH / September 1807 AD The conclusion of the Treaty of Damanhur between Muhammad Ali, governor of Egypt and the British, Fraser’s campaign was evacuated from Egypt after failing to achieve its goals. And inflicted a heavy defeat.
